GripVivante™ HW FES

Description:

GripVivante™ HW FES Hand and Wrist FES System

GripVivante™ HW FES is a hand and wrist functional electrical stimulation (FES) system that stimulates targeted muscles to support functional grasp and hand movement in therapist-led rehabilitation for stroke, spinal cord injury and other neurological conditions. It offers seven programmable actions across Treatment and Pragmatic modes.

Also known as GripVivante™ FES, a hand FES device or an upper limb FES system, GripVivante™ HW FES is used across rehabilitation, neurology, physiotherapy and geriatric departments.

Intended Use

GripVivante™ HW FES is intended to promote functional hand movement for patients with upper limb impairments resulting from neurological conditions, and is suited to patients with muscle tone of Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS) 2 or below.

How It Works

A wearable stimulation unit secured at the wrist delivers programmed low-frequency stimulation through electrodes placed over the target hand muscles, producing coordinated muscle contractions during task practice. The therapist selects actions, sets stimulation and monitors each session from a tablet controller.
