Description:

StrideVivante™ KA FES Knee and Ankle-Foot FES Walking Aid

StrideVivante™ KA FES is a wearable functional electrical stimulation (FES) walking aid that uses gait-synchronised stimulation to promote ankle dorsiflexion and support walking in patients with foot drop from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and other upper motor neuron conditions. It offers Gait, Training and Sit-to-Stand modes.

Also known as a foot drop stimulator or FES drop foot system, StrideVivante™ KA FES is used across rehabilitation, neurology, physiotherapy and geriatric departments.

Intended Use

How It Works

A pressure sensor under the shoe insole detects when the foot contacts and leaves the ground, and wirelessly triggers stimulation in time with each step. Thigh and shank cuffs deliver stimulation to the muscles of the affected leg, while the therapist configures and monitors therapy from a tablet controller.
